Back in March of '08, I started a project where I was going to re-create pictures of actresses/models that had died early deaths. I couldn't find a decent picture of Peg Entwistle to re-create but I wanted to do this theme so I just interpreted her as best I could. That's her actual death certificate.

After her acting career failed to ever take off, she jumped to her death from the H of the Hollywood (then Hollywoodland) sign in September 1932. She became known as the "Hollywood Sign Girl".

Not a very accurate wig either...it's more 60s than 30s...and it's a total pain...

I did not dye my hair blonde for this little shoot :) It's a wig (prop I bought 5 months ago). It's also not a very 1930s hairstyle but it works...
